Jack Wilshere: Devastated after World Cup exit

Roy Hodgson has been criticised for choosing these a youthful squad, and forhis tactics, but Wilshere claimed the players are to blame for the early exit, not the England supervisor.

"It is not the manager's fault," he explained. "The manager can decide the crew but the players have to go on the pitch and do it.

" Everybody in this article respects the manager. He has bought a great CV and been toWorld Cups in advance of. If everything comes out of this, it is that this manager is the just one to acquire usforward."

Defender Phil Jones also backed Hodgson, indicating : "Roy, the manager, has been great. " Just about every training session hehas set on the lads have responded to it. We cannot thank him sufficient.

Wilshere also pledged to start out his pre-seasontraining early as he desires to be at peak health and fitness by the time the Leading Leaguekicks off on August 16.
